Among these is the practice of pangayam, a term commonly used among various Lumad and Moro communities to refer to hunting. Beyond its literal meaning, pangayam holds deep cultural, spiritual, and educational significance. It has also evolved into a form of traditional play, especially among children, reflecting the interconnectedness of life, learning, and livelihood in indigenous societies.
